Law And Technology Certificate
Schulich Law students can pursue a Law and Technology Certificate, exploring how innovation and emerging technologies intersect with the law. Courses such as Intellectual Property and Law and Technology are complemented by hands-on learning through the , the Information Policy Lab, and the course Technological Competence and Innovation in Lawyering. Based at the Schulich School of Law, the supports Atlantic Canada’s entrepreneurial community by providing low-cost legal services to start-ups and innovators who may not otherwise have access to a lawyer.
It also offers a unique opportunity for Schulich Law students to spend a semester working in the Clinic, gaining the practical experience required to address the real-world legal challenges faced by early-stage technology companies.
