Cement finishers will be pouring slabs either Thursday or Friday (Jan 19-20) depending on weather and this could result in more construction noise than usual at the Fitness Centre construction site in the evening.

Because this is winter the concrete sets up slowly, so although the pour will begin shortly after 7 a.m., 聽cement finishers must remain on site until it hardens or the floor may not be acceptable. The cement finishing machines are gas powered engines and may be heard several blocks away. It is intended to have all work complete by 9 p.m. but working with concrete this time of year can be very unpredictable.
