The Office of Human Rights, Equity and Harassment Prevention has teamed up with the Gender and Women鈥檚 Studies Program and its student association to launch our involvement in the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence Campaign. We have collaborated with various faculties, organizations, services, departments, centres, offices, and programs on campus and in the surrounding Halifax community to host and deliver, over a 16-day period, a series of events, campaigns, and/or activities committed to profiling, addressing and eradicating all forms of sex- and gender-based violence.

The campaign is exactly as it sounds: it runs for the 16-day period between November 25 (the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) through to December 10 (International Human Rights Day).
