POSITION: One-Half Time Part-time Academic; Diversity of Life I (Biology 2003.03); September 1, to December 31, 2014

DEPARTMENT/LOCATION: Biology

PAY RATE: $4,565.50 to $5,583 (to be prorated)

WORK ASSIGNMENT: The instructor is responsible for approximately 1/2 of the lectures during the term, with emphasis on invertebrates; assisting students on an individual basis, general administration of the classes (handling student issues, submitting grades, etc.) and invigilating tests and examinations. The position reports to the Chair of the Department.

REQUIREMENTS OF POSITION: The applicants will have an advanced degree in biology. Previous, recent teaching experience in the related discipline and demonstrated ability to lecture to a large class of undergraduate students would be a definite asset. First time applicants must provide the names of two referees.
